Kamala's just trying to get her homework done, nerd out with fan-fic / MMORPGs, figure out her relationship with her religious brother, come to terms with her best friends, and meet the expectations of her immigrant parents. And she's getting the Disney+ treatment with a new TV show coming out later this year. (starring FrieMMd-of-the-pod Azhar Usman).
